This is Love

I will be attending a wedding in a couple of weeks for my cousin. With that in mind, I created this card. The base layer was created with a leafy embossing folder. I don't remember where I got it, but i think any heavily textured leafy/floral folder would work. I think the heavy white texture really makes the cake pop from the background.

The cake itself was created using the Momenta's Celebrate Cakes die set. The cake background was created using a cream colored card stock, while as the cake foreground was created using a pearlized cream colored card stock, reminiscent of a pearl colored cake fondant. For the flowers, I used watercolor paper and watercolor pens to color them how I wanted them with with mauve's creams, rose and cold.

The glittery "love" is a puffy sticker used from the August Spellbinders Card Making Kit.
