Icicle Lights for Christmas

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun card I made using Spellbinders De-Light-Ful Christmas Glimmer Die Set by Yana Smakula and the Stitched Starry Argyle Etched Die sets.

With this cute card, I was able to create the look of icicle lights using the Stitched Starry Argyle die set using DMC's silver thread. I initially did this as a pattern, adding a few piercings to the paper so that I can get the exact length and patterns I liked. Once I was done with this pattern, I thought it looked sort of like the strands you'd see on icicle lights on houses at Christmas time. From there, I made several rounds of lights using Yana's De-Light-Ful Christmas Glimmer Die set. This set from Yana is so beautiful and versatile. I've been playing with so many ways to use this die set that I will share with you later. For my sentiment, I used Yana's A Merry Little Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set from her De-Light-Ful Christmas Collection
