Spellbinders My Forever Person Stamp & Dies.
Hello friends, today I get to share with you another one of my new favorite cards. This card took me quite a while to do. Sometimes I find that if I am working on a card, and it's not coming together as I would like, it's best to set it aside and come back to it another day. I did that with this card. I knew I wanted to use Spellbinders Kaleidoscope Plaid Die set, and that the latticework would be great for insetting the "x" and "o", but I couldn't figure out what else to put with it. Every time I tried to layer a sentiment or critter on top, it just got lost in the busy background. I knew I needed something substantial on top so that it would stand out. That's when I pulled out my Spellbinders My Forever Person Stamp & Die set. I love how the heart works and stands out from the background.
I used the lattice background to create a french door on top, essentially making a card on top of a card. I glued a beautiful cream-colored satin ribbon behind the french-door card, wrapped it around the base card, and tied it into a bow.
