Kicking off Creative Henrietta.

As I launch my new card making and crafting blog, I'm hopeful that I've found a renewed hobby that is more my speed. I'm not new to card making. I dabbled in card making many years ago. I had all of the markers, ink pads, papers and rubber stamps. I even purchased an early generation Silhouette, which I never did figure out how to use and never made anything with it. It sat on my desk collecting dust and became a very expensive paper weight. Eventually my Silhouette ended up in a box earmarked for donation. I donated my stamps, pens and ink pads to other crafting friends as I hadn't touched any of it in years. The reason had somewhat to do with time. It wasn't a priority in my life. The why however was because I never loved the quality of cards I was creating. The end result never lived up to my expectations.
Fast forward a few decades later to todays card making technology! The technology has improved leaps and bounds. All of the new inks, markers, papers, Misti's, stamps, dies & cutting machines, embossing folders, foiling and the textured layering of papers and embellishments brings me renewed excitement. I'm looking forward to experimenting, learning more and refining my craft.
