Thankful for Fall

Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the changing colors of leaves, the cool crisp morning air, football season, and pumpkin spice lattes. This card is a nod to those things I love with the orange plaid textures mimicking a warm blanket, tailgating at a football game, and the warmth of pumpkin spiced anything really--all of which I'm thankful for.

With this beautiful card, I used a buffalo plaid embossing folder from Park Lane that I picked up from Joann to create the white base background. The autumnal plaid paper from Carta Bella Paper Company was the perfect compliment to the light blue Truck I was able to construct from the Spellbinders Truckin Through the Seasons Large Die Set. The cute pumpkins in the back of the truck were die-cut using watercolor paper and painted using, Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Watercolor Brush Pens in Vanilla, Light Orange and Oatmeal.
